Background

Friends of the Earth work to inspire solutions to environmental problems and lobby the Government to put them into action.

Friends of the Earth Bristol have teamed up with The Campaign to protect Rural England and The Parish Councils Airport Association, to form Stop Bristol Airport Expansion. They have campaigned with considerable success to draw attention to the environmental impact of unfettered airport expansion.

Project aims

We were asked to provide ideas that would work on an AdVan (powered by biodiesel naturally) to highlight the disruption that airport expansion would cause both in the rural Chew Valley and the wider environment.

Solution

Some powerful copy and a strong colour palette reinforced the urgency of the threat and gained valuable column inches in local papers.
