The 19th September 2012 saw the launch of Bristol’s own currency, the Bristol Pound, money designed to be spent locally to support Bristol businesses.
While the design of the notes was decided by public competition, Bristol Pound approached us to to translate the designs into printable artwork. Using a complex combination of process colours, fluorescents and foils, we worked with a specialist security printer to ensure the notes were counterfeit proof and the designs reproduced properly.
Our graphic design services have also been called upon by Bristol Pound for their launch publicity and security guides.
